Cellenbeton (gasbeton)

Cellenbeton (gasbeton) is een betonsoort met een lage dichtheid en sterk isolerend vermogen. De materialen waarmee cellenbeton wordt gemaakt zijn hetzelfde als bij beton. Cement, kalk, kwartszand en water. Maar door een chemische reaktie in het verhardende materiaal gasbellen te laten ontstaan wordt het poreus. Cellenbeton kan wel of niet dragend zijn. Bekende merknamen zijn H+H, Lemga, Porit, Wüpor, Ytong en Hebel.

Veel voorkomende diktes in de markt zijn: 50, 70, 100 en 150 mm.
